GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR FINANCIAL SUCCESS

SUCCESSOINT Pastor BennyThe success of your financial future is directly related to your obedience to God’s laws of giving. As a believer, the Bible commands you to “honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase” (Proverbs 3:9). Your obedience in giving to the Lord brings the promise of increase and releases God’s blessing as “thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:10). God’s wonderful plan for your financial success requires your participation and will only succeed with your cooperation. Your participation begins with these three important keys: Information—knowing what God’s Holy Word says; Vision—understanding the truth in the Bible that produces faith to receive; Application of Information—obeying God’s Word which releases God’s abundance. Seed-faith Instruction from Dr. Oral Roberts Several years ago, I began to experience a new dimension of God’s blessing in my own life when my dear friend of many years, Oral Roberts, lovingly took the time to share his insights with me on the principles of sowing and reaping. What he communicated to me that day following a Sunday morning service at our church in Orlando revolutionized my perspective on giving and brought great blessings to my life, including my finances. In the comfort of my office, Dr. Roberts began the conversation by saying, “Can I talk to you like a son?” I responded affirmatively, eager to hear what he had to say. “You take lousy offerings!” he said. Stunned and surprised, I asked, “What do you mean, Dr. Roberts?” “You ask the people to give, but you never tell them to expect a harvest. When a farmer sows, he does so expecting a harvest. When the grain is ripe and ready to harvest, a portion of the seed is planted for the next harvest, while the balance is used to provide for his needs. This morning when you asked the people to give, you told them what the Bible said and challenged them to give. But you never told them to expect a harvest!” As I sat there listening to every word, this wonderful man continued to speak from his heart: “Sowing and reaping go together. I’ve never known a farmer who planted seed without expecting to reap a harvest!” Next, Dr. Roberts began to quote a familiar verse from Luke 6:38, which declares: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Then he pointed out that according to this verse, giving is referred to once. Yet the blessing that comes from the act of giving is referred to seven times: It shall be given unto you good measure pressed down shaken together running over shall men give into your bosom. “These God-promised blessings that come as a result of giving are so abundant that your hand cannot contain it,” he said. “The harvest can only be carried by balancing it against the chest with both arms stretched out as far as possible to grasp it and carry it home!” My precious friend then taught me that each time I sow my seed and give to the work of the Lord, I should follow these steps: Write down your expected harvest. Thank God for the anticipated harvest. Sow in faith and expect to receive. Keep giving until the harvest comes, for when it comes, you will be able to give again and again out of your abundance. In such a simple way, Dr. Roberts gave me the principles of sowing and reaping, as revealed clearly in Scripture, and how those invaluable principles could release God’s blessings. Those insights he shared with me have revolutionized my life, and I pray they will impact you and your loved ones as well! There is no limitation to God’s resources. God’s has promised provision for you! His supply is inexhaustible. God Almighty is ready to release His blessings upon your life, and the supernatural harvest begins with your seed. Sow your seed today in faith and obedience, then expect your harvest so you can give again and again. When you are blessed, your needs are met, and you have no lack, then you can fulfill God’s divine plan for your financial success as you become a living example of God’s blessings. Your seed is reaching souls around the globe. As my friend and partner in ministry, your generous and faithful support has sent me to the world to preach the Gospel. Together, we have gathered a harvest of souls and seen millions of lives transformed for eternity. Now, more than ever, I want you to experience the fullness of God’s divine plan for your financial success and the blessings of His unlimited resources. I long to see God open the windows of heaven upon your life and pour out such a deluge of blessings that you cannot contain all that He gives (Malachi 3:10). Sow a generous seed in faith today and take time to do what I do each time I give: write down your desired harvest and thank God in advance for it. According to God’s Word, when you give “it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom” (Luke 6:38). Place a seed in God’s hands. Give Him an opportunity to pour out a supernatural harvest into your life. Don’t delay, for I believe we are in a divine time of planting and harvesting.
