SUCCESSOINT You are welcome back to this glorious week. Last week, I unveiled to you the beauty of single life. The single years of a man’s development is designed of God to be a season of laying a solid foundation for a great life of exploits to make a notable difference to your world. That’s why God’s Word says: if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Psalms 11:3). But in this fast paced generation we live in today, everyone seems to be in a hurry to move ahead of events. The same have become true of many single persons, who often times fail to see and enjoy the tremendous fun and benefits that God has designed for this season of life. As a single person, there are ways by which you can extract as much juice as possible imbedded in your single days. Concerning you, the Word of God says: For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord (Jer. 29:11). That is to say, God has good plans for your single days as a single man or woman, not just for when you are married. Therefore, you can maximize your single years and make them exciting, purposeful, and full of fun by investing in your life as a person. The best time for you to start investing into your life is while you are still single. This should affect every area of your life – spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. The Bible speaking in Matthew 6:33 says: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness. If your purpose for living does not include serving the Lord, then you do not have a right purpose for living. Serving the Lord prevents aimless wondering. Your single days are an opportunity to exhibit the qualities you want in your future. So, build yourself up mentally as a single person. Cultivate the winning attitudes that will be relevant for the future you desire. Learn how to be tolerant and to handle issues, with your emotions under control. Finally, you have a duty to present your body unto God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). The power for maximizing your single days is the preserve of the redeemed. You become born again as you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour by confessing your sins. If you want to be born again, say this prayer of faith: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Congratulations! You are now born again! Till I come your way next week, please call or write, and share your testimonies with me through:
